TTS is a summer swim team in Tangipahoa parish. We participate in the Scenic Rivers Swimming Association which encompasses teams in Mandeville, Covington and Hammond.
TTS trains Monday – Friday from 8 - 9 am at Zemurray Park pool. There is no practice the day of the meet.
The season generally lasts until the middle of July. During the swim season we have 4-5 meets for the swimmers to participate in. Therefore it is required that the swimmers attend 3 practices a week and the meets. There is a Championship meet at the end of the season, which requires the kids make qualifying times. We cannot give your kids the success they deserve in swimming if they do not practice.
The great part about swimming is that it is both an individual and team sport. So while your kids become successful, the team improves as well. And that is always a good thing.
TTS will also have social events for the kids to participate in to build team spirit and companionship. Check the website for more information.
